Access to Music has a 12 year history in Lincoln and has been gaining in popularity over the years (catering for in excess of a 1,000 students over that period) helping them to success within the music industry and progression to higher education.

Access to Music works closely with Rock school (RSL) to provide quality, industry recognised, education and qualifications. The qualifications that Access to Music offers are and can be used to access higher education at university and within Access to music’s own set of level 4 and degree level qualifications.

Access to music runs 2 programmes, The Performing Musician (PM) at level 2 (GCSE) and level 3 (AS level) and The Audio Producer (AP) at level 2 (GCSE) and level 3 (AS level) see further details on courses.

Access to Music is also a commercially available with fully functioning recording studios, (with 2 independent running live rooms and control rooms all air conditioned) rehearsal suite, (3 independent rehearsal rooms with PA systems, drum kit, bass and guitar amps air conditioned) fully equipped up to date Tech suite with 10 I macs running logic pro 8, a fully equipped up to date study suite with 20 computers.

Access to music also features a large lecture room with performance area and video projection facilities including full PA facilities.

The centre is fully networked with Wi Fi facilties
